Praise for Percy & the Plod!

Kept me up all night laughing!

I cannot recommend this book highly enough for young adults, and for us older adults who just plain love a good, fun story that will tickle our funny bones. I am so excited to read the next installment in the Percy Veerance series, and guarantee you will feel the same once you read Percy and the Plod. You cannot help but fall in love with the silliness, the quirkiness and the superb storytelling abilities of author Toni Dockter, and you will fall in love with little Percy, his dog Dilly, and his wonderful Auntie Flora, as well as all the goofballs and weirdos that make up the wild and wacky world of Yoosa.

About Percy

The book is too much about Percy and not enough about me.

Great, positive content for young readers

Ms. Dockter has a series of books starring the same character. I highly recommend all of them. They’re great reading for both girls and boys! As a parent of a boy, it’s difficult to find reading material that he really wants to devour.

These books are hilarious and deliver a positive message without violence, or fake superhero types. They make a child think about what his choices really are and how to take the high road when things are tough. My son laughs the whole way through.

A Great Story

You will fall in love with Percy and Dilly. Using the Percy Method of Steady Plodding, we cheer for him when he accomplishes his goal and returns home a hero.

This book is an imaginative, fun read and teaches the meaning of setting a goal, having the courage to commit to that goal and accomplishing it. Percy and the Plod is the lead book in the Percy Veerance Adventure Series Trilogy. This is a book young people will find charming and funny while learning lessons that are sprinkled throughout.
